things to ponder…

* HE loves us so..oh how HE loves us..(this song is stuck in my head today)

* walking through the valley is the time when we earn crowns to place at HIS feet..(different perspective)

* all things work together for those who love HIM

* unlimited “do-overs”,  what is not to love about that?

* jump..HE will catch you

* sometimes we need to travel the hardest road, to get to the best place

* no place is dark enough for God not to shine through..amazing

* when everything else fails…HE never does

*God is working through the internet, on Twitter, in Blogsville-i know i seen HIM

* even in the remotest corner of the world, we are never alone-HE is there with us

* HE gave us promises, and HE does not lie

*HE doesn’t love just a little..HE loves completely, and unconditionally

these are some of the things i am pondering through maybe you need some things to ponder on too…these things always cause me look up, move closer, and feel the healing power of our awesome and peace!

National Day of Prayer~Lancaster, PA

Here are some of the pics that my hubs was sweet enough to try to get for me, bc he felt sorry for me that I did remember a camera, just not new batterys! yes that is the story of my life! But my daughter (love her!!) remember hers.  Worship with Travis and a full choir was awesome, and i don’t know the last time while trying to bless HIS heart, did I feel so very blessed.  Of course Beth Moore brought the message and encouragement to the celebration, and as always God was moving through her. Even my children came home excited and thrilled that God was doing something, and will never leave us…no matter what..

Lots of Corporate prayer, covering everything from the President down to the students…mothers and families..Prayer is privilege, thank you LORD.

National Day of Prayer

Did you have a celebration in your area for the National Day of Prayer? We always do  here in PA, corporate prayer, speaker, music…tons of people, and family friendly as well.  This year was no exception, well except for that Beth Moore was our speaker, and Travis was our worship leader…I don’t need to tell you that GOD was huge in that place!  I know HE is huge everywhere, but i don’t always sense that..and this time I did!

I will post some pics later today or tomorrow, I am really pressed for time right now, but just had to share with you!! So excited today about what God is going to do as a result of our prayers.  It rained here saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday morning..and then it stopped, and turned into the most beautiful spring day over and around the NDP ampitheater, and the ground was not muddy…amazing! God is totally about HIS children praying!

Of all the things I could quote from yesterday this one is still my favorite this morning… “take heart, GOD is not on vacation”….first you laugh, and then it sets in, and wow! what a thought to keep front and center.  (BTW-no more whining about my hug and kiss…I so got it!! hahaha i do love my MamaBeth!)

Have you seen her?

You know,.. the girl who looks tattered and torn? Maybe covered in tatoos, maybe just not very easy on your eyes…I am sure you have seen her. My question is, how did you respond to her? or if you responded at all?

I wonder how many times Jesus has put her or him in our path and we choose to cross the street, or look else where.  Did it even cross our minds to make an eye connection with her/him, and maybe offer a friendly smile? Maybe even say “hey, how are you?” and then stand and listen, maybe offer to pray for them with them, maybe offer to take them to dinner, or invite them in for coffee, and try to extend a friendly hand?  Its hard I know…but what a terrible thing it would be if Jesus were disguised, and we rejected HIM..i think about things like that.

I don’t think its good or cool to just ignore these people and call our selves blessed, and go home and write check to our favorite ministry, or sign up for a missions trip and forget the person we pass on the way to the grocery store who holds a sign …”will work for food” don’t have to leave the US to find them, they are here.  (no kick on missions trips – love them, love the hearts God sends on them) Just wondering…why there are so many stickers and shirts and hats with “what would Jesus do” and not many looking like Jesus?  maybe they are not telling us they know, maybe they don’t know what Jesus would do…just my brain….

What are you reading?? or watching…

You do realize we are responsible for alot of what goes into our minds and eventually becomes a normal thought process?  So I thought I would check in with all my peeples and see just what are you reading and watching..

I will go first..

reading – I Dare You, by J.Meyers

reading-Esther in the Bible , by GOD, and studying under Beth Moore for this one.

watching- guilty of Fox News channel, but limiting it to an hour a day, or I could just hang with them all day.
