If you don’t know my Jesus, and you feel like you have no way out, I would like to encourage you to take a look at this video. Its not new, its been around for a while, and everytime I see it, it reminds me of where I have been and where I am now. The things that used to keep me in bondage. And how Jesus is the only way out. This is not an elite club of believers, This is not about status, or geography. Its not about the color of your skin, its all about God who loved enough to die to for you to satisfy HIS own wrath against the sin. Offering deliverance. We only need repent and bow to HIM, make HIM the King of our life, and follow after HIM. And it all starts out with knowing that HE is there reaching out for you, reach back and its on! I love theology (or what I understand of it, as I am still learning), but I never want to forget what HE has done for me because HE loves me. I can not and will not down play that Love of Jesus, it all started with HIS love.
If you do know HIM, please do not forget, that as we learn and grow, our theology and our reality must merge, and be one…or else its useless.

Thank you for sharing it. It is the testimony of so many. And even if the details aren’t the same; it’s all of our testimony, the struggles with the warfare we endure. The power of the Lord to fight back the enemy when we ask, just waiting for us to ask.

The drama team at church did this once … I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house – I know I was sobbing … as I am now. And so was my husband. Who almost never cries at stuff like this. Powerful. So powerful.
Very Powerful. Superbly performed in such a simple arrangement of a very complex reality.
My only concern is it reinforces something i think many find ‘hard’ to get…By putting all the evils ‘between’ Him and ‘us’ it gives the impression we were/are separate from Him and this is NEVER so.
He is somewhere INSIDE of us ALL the Time, always and ever, He never leaves ‘us’, He is not ‘Separate’ to us.
Rather our eyes and ears and sometimes our heart/desire is turned away from Him inside of us to the world outside of us and that becomes all we see.
Finding our way back to Him means to realise that it is the world which is far away from us and who ‘we’ think we are and recognise the Truth… He lives within each and every one of us and we can reconnect with Him there any time we turn our eyes etc from the world and search for Him and see Him as being more real than all that ‘glitters ‘out there’.
It might be true that there is nothing good that comes from our flesh, but it is within the very deepest core of our being that He exists – all it takes is the ability to remember and to ‘dig’ that deep inside of our being to find Him.
Satan may reside and build fortresses in our flesh, earthly things, but He lives in our Spirit.and if we develop that He will ‘overcome what exists ‘outside’ and around our spirit.

love to hear from you LOVE! I agree…HE never leaves us, I think it is showing or playing on the human thought that we are in over our head, and seem to think we have no way out. Very human thinking , huh? and although in the vid she felt that way, HE never walked away, he stayed there trying to get her to come back.
Once we accept Christ the enemy /evil can only lie to us, they really don’t have that power unlesss we give it to them.

What do you mean by merge? and what if the theology is wrong?
Deb what I mean by merge with reality and theology is this..first it will not merge if theology is not correct..secondly the meaning of merging in this sense is my theology (my belief system in What God says about himself as wel as what HE says about me) will only have the power it should if I believe it (reality) so knowlege and belief have to come together, result the abundant life. So if I am lacking, it is usually due to my own unbelief in some area…daily work for me 😉
I may get in trouble with this one! LOL I will start a controversy! i can do that! ha! My theology may not be right – not a 100% at least! There are some questions in God’s word that I may have the wrong answers or conclusions. However, as I walk with Christ one of my major prayers is Lord keep me in the path you want me to go – and I believe He does.
Darla my Christian walk is a walk of reality. If what I read in the bible does not seem to fit in my walk – then there must be something I need to do to make that work. I really don’t worry about it – I find no scripture that Christ ever told his disciples to worry about there walk. We must seek after him boldly! like peter! Peter made screw ups – but only after he walked boldly. He never held back! And Jesus never told him; “slow down Peter, you need to be cautious!” Peter was cool!! Foolish at times, but cool! Just like Peter, this walk with Chrtist is fun and full of surprises!!
papa= I agree with 100% your walk is your reality, and it shows fruit of believing God, that is what is meant by the theology and reality becoming one….what you know and what you believe work together, and that’s what it should be.
1. God is who HE says HE is.
2. God can do what HE says HE can do.
3. I am who God says I am.
4. God’s word is alive and active in me.
5. I can do all things through CHrist
this is my theology and my reality…and it is my walk. I will always have time when one of them is weak, and I need to learn..or I need rebuke..but without these things, I am only believing there is a GoD, and not so much believing HIM….trust…faith…
