“Believe Me”

A very long time ago, while begging the Lord to return, HE told me “my bride isn’t ready, she doesn’t believe me”.  While studying and looking through terminology on the “bride”, my study of revelations began.  The bride is to believe HIM, not just that HE is, but all that makes HIM who HE is.  It totally changes the heart and the view of the world around us.  “How to be an Overcomer” is huge in my search engines that direct to this blog…so many people looking to overcome something, and looking for answers.  To be an overcomer starts with believing HIM…its a trust issue.  Its something we work at, something we choose, not always a feeling or emotion…It is possible if we know who HE is, and that HE is capable of doing all that HE says.  If we don’t know the Word of God, we can not know HIM, its personal, its one on one, its taking HIM at HIS word, and not mixing a ton of what others think or believe into the mix.

Recently God has been helping me to love the body of Christ.  Seems strange to say that, but its true.  Although I did not expect to fall in love with the body.  SHE is extremely beautiful, and I am understanding a little more why HE would say “I am enthalled by your beauty”.

I can do all things, (ANYTHING) through HIM who strengthens me…EVERYTHING is possible..Jesus loves some Misfits, and they are the body of Christ. The hardest part of believing for me is to believe that I am who God says I am.  How about you, do you believe it? Do you know your identity in Christ?

If you haven’t already been..you need to..visit Nor and his recent post, and Carl and his recent post, both on John chapter 5..this is the body, and they are beautiful!

im with papa. my relationship with HIM is very personal. there are things that go on and are said just between the two of us that only i understand. He gets me like no other. and thats all i need.

helping you to love the body of Christ??? yah, me too. it does sound strange – but it seems there are days that my own family in the Lord is harder to love than others. but again…that is something the Lord is working with me on. couldnt do this life without Him!

    love you!!!

  12. Darla –
Your thoughts about loving the body are so true. There’s a lot of that going around on here lately – the intensity of close friendships suddenly coming our way. You’re probably the … 6th or 7th person who I’ve heard saying this in the past weeks! I’m in there too, althought I’ve not posted on it. I’m loving this. It’s like … basking in the sunshine. Or biting into a perfectly ripe peach. Or both together.

  13. Wow sweet…work is nuts, after work is nuttier…hopefully tonight I’ll be able to visit my blog family… 😆 This is cool.

I seem to be with the consensus here that my walk is very personal. I think there is way more to it than that. I believe it should be shared…every bit of it. I learn so much from people who take time and make the effort not to keep it to themselves…if we do we become about us, not Him. When we share, it’s ALL about Him…that’s what it’s for.

” and not mixing a ton of what others think or believe into the mix. ” So true! When we put man before what God says it’s always a disaster…good to seek wisdom for those who are seeped in Him and wise, but when we stop there without seeking Him out ourselves we miss it. I’m glad you love the body princess, I you are such a dear friend to me. It’s hard sometimes to love the body…until I get me out of the way…LOL then it’s pretty easy and God can do His thing…Have a super day…and up to the next post!! LOL

  14. I think it’s a complete and full circle when it comes to our relationship with God. He says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all it’s righteousness and then everything shall be added unto you.” I think in actively seeking Him, like you said knowing His Word and praying regularly, the trust builds over time and we learn to give ourselves fully and completely to Him. But again, it’s a process and there will always be areas in our life that still lack complete submission. He works on one area and then moves on to the next. That is what I interpret when I heard “He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

    Love you Darla 🙂

  15. **That’s what I interpret when I HEAR etc..**
