East Coast- Home again

Our trip to Oregon was more than we expected, or dreamed off.  But isn’t that just like our God to go above and beyond?!  Absolutely fell in love with Oregon, and Tam and Brent (also those kiddos).  Its incredibly hard to move on after such an awesome time of fellowship, scenery, and food ( we are still not  hungry).  As I sit at HIS feet today, my heart questions…Why?  Why would you allow us to experience all of this?  Why would you touch someone else’s heart through me? Seems scandalous.  Although questioning, I am flooded with praise, and thankfulness to have experienced it at all.  HE is so good, and so good to HIS children.

As I sit here at HIS feet, I am aware of the taste of Heaven that HE gave to all of us as a gift.  HE is aware I struggle with letting go and getting on with my to-do list.  And I am aware that I am leaning tough on HIM.  Not a bad place to be.  I have seen the beauty that comes from HIS unity, and how awesome HIS hand take hearts and makes them one.  Heaven is going to be more sweet, more awesome than we can imagine, and through my emotions I know…this was all we could grasp in these earthly bodies…

Father God. there is none like you. We bow at your feet, in adoration.  I do think you were showing off a bit with the west coast, and your creation is breath taking.  Thank you for allowing us to experience it.  Thank you for Tam and Brent, Deb and Jer, and Kass and Kota.  Now that you have allowed my families hearts to be so inter-twined with theirs, show us what to do with that.  Help us to use all for your Glory.  Lead us, instruct us, and help us to surrender to you daily.  Thank you for the gifts!  We love you, and are more aware that we live because of you, and we need to live for you. Your overwhelmed Princess

  2. Darla,

We are meant for Perfection… God gives us these moments so we can get a glimpse of heaven and what we have to Hope for.

Treasure the memories, know that your future to meet them again is secure in Him.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is be certain of what we hope for and sure of what we do not see.

  4. His plans don’t always make sense to us.

Sometimes they are for stretching and sometimes they are for strengthening. I have a feeling He gave you both this time around.

Those are the best kind of plans to my way of thinking.

It’s so good that God has really shown His goodness to you through it all. It reminded me of those verses in Matthew 7 about God being a good Father , giving us good gifts. So glad you all had a great time :).
