It’s been a while since I just sat still and left everything wait…and just loved on Jesus! How do we get so caught up in serving that we forget to serve the One and Only? HE wants us to curl up with HIM, and pour out our love and praise on HIM. It does my heart good. It does my soul good. It does my mind good, and motivates me to strive for pure and holy thoughts. Sometimes it seems like we are so busy trying to do church like we think it should be, and we don’t always stop to ask HIM how it should be.
This week I have been reading through some of the missing books of my Bible…they are found now…Nahum, Habakkuk, Ezra…love me some minor prophets! Wondering what we are in for, as a defiant people who wander off from HIM so easily. Years ago I prayed to see things through HIS eyes, and NO I am not there, but sometimes I sense a small piece of it..I really think HIS heart breaks… so much love, so much grace, so much of living we miss, as HE holds out HIS hands, and we whine about what we don’t have. And head off in our own direction to get all that the world will give to us.
Spend some time with HIM, allow HIM to fill you with joy. Rise up on wings like eagles…and just fly with HIM high above the circumstances. Remember your first love, who loved you while you were still HIS enemy. Fall in love over and over and over with Jesus, Remember… Remember…

Oh how I love Jesus….because He first loved me….

I am disciplining myself in terms of spending time in the Word–regurlarly and purposefully. I am not where I want to be but praise God I am a work in progress.

To come back to the lover of our souls…to remember the goodness of God and the purpose He will accomplish in us…to be found holy and blameless at His coming…
I would rather get my “stuff” refined now than at the Judgment Seat of Christ…

Tam- Gch-Ric- I need to remember..I don’t see us much different than then who God is speaking to in these books..but I want to be closer to HIM. Refining I know about…but putting out the effort to come closer..sometimes I need work on. Thanks for commenting..Love U!

I read Zephaniah this morning. Wow. So much about God’s rage and anger towards those who defy Him and worship false gods. Heavy stuff. I don’t know if I understand it fully but continuing to pray for revelation.
Gch- I love Zephaniah! The last chapter is the most beautiful picture of his heart!!! it makes me smile and remember that HE never gives up..he pursues us and sings over us!!! HE does whatever it takes to turn us back to HIM, we are HIS! ♥ you!
I find that as I start to stress out over all the things I need to do, the difficulty of tasks ahead that if I take time to give it to the Lord, sit at the feet of Jesus and praise HIM, then things seem to work out better. It seems strange to give up time, but yet to have more time. I dont understand, but it works. I praise HIM!!

I love Jesus Darla – He is so loving and caring! Pray for me tomorrow – I am staying with my neighbor tomorrow morning – he is dying a very miserable death with severe MS. An evaluator is coming in tomorrow to determine if he should be put in hospice care. He is younger than me and has had Ms for 20 years – he took a medical retirement from pastoring. I think this is how we serve Christ the best by ministering to others.

That is so good. And I saw a post today with video of kite flying to worship music…flying with Him, sheltered under the wings of the Most High God. Ummmm…good!

Hey, Darla! I don’t know how I missed your response three days ago…
I was speaking of the Day when all will be revealed and our work that we’ve done in the flesh since becoming Christians will be judged. The Judgment Seat of Christ vs. The Great White Throne Judgment – the first is for the Church, the second is for the unbelievers.
I was more specifically referring to I Corinthians 3 – we will go through the fire…
I want to be proven as gold, silver or fine gems – I hope what I have done for Him will be worthy of His calling and choosing me. Not that I will have worked “in the flesh” and have nothing of worth to give back to Him.
It’s a fascinating teaching – more than I’ve stated here – one that is not often taught, although it is scriptural…
