I don’t know how everyones week is going, but mine has been hard, with lots of fighting off the enemy, and putting up truth, all the while being called out to love and forgive. Any of these alone I can handle without much thought ( at least on a good day). My heart has been heavy in prayer for friends of mine going through loss of a family member and all the extra that gets tacked to it. Godsgal (on my blogroll), and Bajanpoet (on my blogroll) have lost someone very close to them. Would you join me in showing them some “blog love” and saying a prayer for them. I believe that God delights in us and even more in our unity of prayer. HE is awesome and powerful, beautiful and loving. As a parent I know the joy I get when my children all agree on something, and move on it….just thrills my heart! Even more will our Father in heaven be thrilled….
Let’s begin in praying for our sisters and brothers. I know I will gladly accept all the prayer I can get, and I think of Michelle (on my blogroll) and Tam (on my blogroll) and the way they are faced with sicknesses that truly hold them down physically, but not spiritually. They truly are serving God right where they are.
Got Prayer it does a soul good!
Joining you in prayer for these brothers and sisters.
Love & blessings-
Shonda
“Where two or more are gathered…”
We can’t have too many prayers! Let’s look at our Lord’s example…
Our father which art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory
Forever and ever, Amen.
You’ve brought me to tears…again…with all the love you’ve shown me throughout this week, I never would have known you were struggling, thank you. I’m praying foryou and thankGod for placing you in my life…You are a princess with a servants heart…
My days have been busy, so taking time to pray for others was a great reminder to slow down. Mama and I will be praying. Thanks Darla for the reminder to pray.
Thanks, guys, for remembering my family at this time…
As I was telling Darla, my wife is taking it hard, as it was her cousin that died…
And we’re concerned about where we’re living now – the lady that died owned the house where we are living, but now she’s died…. let’s say my in-laws can kick us out or make us pay rent at any time: after 7 years of residing there!
So, just letting my blogging family know the situation up to this point.
Again, thanks for concern and prayer….

Girl, prayers lifted. We too are dealing with hard times-sorry I have not been around so much. Hope you are well.
Much love,
Angela
During these time our faith becomes so strong and intense with our father. I try to run to him for comfort and direction. I will pray for the loss, the forgiveness and the direction of His heart to everyone. God bless all of you, Love Tanya
Heavenly Father, You are so good to us. You know our every need even before the words come to our lips. You care beyond anything we can imagine and desire our holiness to be found in You. For this reason, You give us many struggles in this life to learn more about You. You give us loss and You give us gain. You are in control of all that comes to us for we are wrapped in Your love, so that nothing comes into our lives that You have not ordained. For this we can and do praise You.
In our suffering, in our pain and our limitations, You come with arms wide open telling us to trust. We will do that, Lord, we will trust in You because we know You are Love. Take our fears, our anxieties, our hurts, our losses and turn them into joy in Your time, as You will.
We ask all these things in Your precious Son’s name, Jesus, amen.
Hard times – I remember in the summer of 1991 the pastor stopping in one his sermons and saying; “if you think you are going through tough times with your children, you need to talk to ‘mama and papa’, times are tough right now, remember them in prayer.” Those were hard days, but God has not failed, all is well now.
I am humbled. Humbled to be in the company of such Godly people. Humbled to partner with you in this crazy life. Humbled that God has blessed me by your friendship and the friendships of those listed.
Always praying for you Darla! I love you!
I absolutely love what God is doing in our hearts, and I love doing life with you Tam!! You encourage me sooo much, and always remind me to keep it real, when it would be easier sometimes to join the ranks of the phoney… naaaaaa I would hate that!!!!
