John 8:36 (NKJV) “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:36 (TMSG) “So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through.”
John 8:36 (CEV) “If the Son gives you freedom, then you are free!”
You get the idea! It doesn’t matter what translation you look in the thought and concept is the same. I recommend that you choose a translation that works for your understanding, and always compare to others. I do love my NASB best, but my NIV is my familiar baby, love it!
When I write about struggles, it does not always mean that I am in the pit. That is a lie the enemy would like me to believe and would also love for you to believe that when struggles raise thier ugly head, and our weaknesses seem to be too strong for us….. Who the Son sets free is free indeed!!, through and through!, You are free! The enemy is a liar! God calls him the “Father of lies” John 8:44
Wonder what is at stake in the heavenlies, when the enemy turns up the heat so much we start to believe the lie, that we have not been set free…some will say..”crisis of unbelief”…some will say…”she never was free”…and sadly we start to listen to what man has to say, we start to hang our heads, we cry out “why are we not getting this?” NO we are not! Two Fathers are named here…we have our Father God, 100% truth, and the father of lies, 100% deception….”Who’s your Daddy?” The enemy is lying, we are free, not in our strength, but in the power ofJesus, who God the Father gave all authority in heaven and earth. I am walking in the light of freedom, and I am reaching my hand out to you…come walk, run, and play in the Sonshine, “for cryin out loud…” shoulders back and head up! Your Daddy set you free, and no one can make you walk back into the darkness and no one can hold you accept HIM, and HE isn’t letting go!
BTW-when you walk out of that dark place..slam the door! and make sure he hears you..”Get out of my house! in Jesus name” he will run, he will come back, but we just do it again..We are FREE!
“we have our Father God, 100% truth, and the father of lies, 100% deception….”Who’s your Daddy?”
YAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
That is awesome Darla! I jumped up all excited then started laughing that you actually asked, “Who’s your Daddy?” Classic and Great!!!
Amen and Amen and AMEN again!!!
We are free in HIM and in us resides HIS power to resist the devil (and he will flee). So e rise up in HIS name, not becoming boastful, but confident in HIS truth, and we run strong like the dickens straight ahead!!!
Love this – Love this!!!
What a fantastic way to start our week!
You really rock!
“who’s your Daddy?” yup I went there.. 😯 but it really is that simple, the enemy just knows how to kick at us, HOw is this for confidence…”Satan, there is a lake of fire with your name on it, I for one will jump up and down, then go get ready for the Party!”
Love you Tam, and girl YOU ROCK!
Hope you’re having a good day. Hope you’re healthy!!
Amen and Amen! Satan, you are rebuked, in the name of Jesus! I would love for you to comment on my newest platform question!
Yes, free indeed! I am amazed at the number of those who reject Christ because they area afraid they will be enslaved. I certainly see it as a life with more choices than I ever had before! Wonderful choices!
I love you, Princess Darla! Great post!! 🙂
Amen!! Amen!!! And again I say Amen!!!
Whose your daddy? Love that! It is a choice.
Glad for your example.
Much love,
Angela
You are so right about everything you wrote, but if you are a person who cannot fathom that you are never going to be free. I found freedom about 2 years ago and I am never going back. I pray for the one’s who know they are free but will not reach out and grab that freedom.
It’s helped reading this… going to read the other posts dealing with freedom…
Bajan- love you..Ephesians 1: 3-6 is how God sees you..our end is to believe it! I am believing it for you!
Thanks Princess… will spend time meditating on this today.
